Dolores Gennemore Van Scoy

Dolores Gennemore Van Scoy, age 78 of Bridgeport, beloved wife of 58 years to Walter C. Van Scoy Sr., died peacefully on February 25, 2010. Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of late Ercole and Philomena Testani Gennemore. A Bridgeport resident for most of her life, she was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all whose lives she touched. Survivors in addition to her husband, Walter, are her beloved children, Walter C. Van Scoy Jr. and wife, Susan of Bridgeport, Leslie Piscitelli of Bridgeport, Robert Van Scoy and Wife, Vicki of Florida, Phyliss Bacsik and husband, Brian of Bridgeport; 10 grandchildren; four great-grand-children; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at 9:30am on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Rd., Fairfield. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. The Commerce Hill Radozycki Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport.
