Helen G. (Gramesty) Williamson

Helen G. (Gramesty) Williamson, age 90, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late William Williamson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 17, 2010. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Deeb) Gramesty). A retired employee of Hawie Manufacturers, she had worked there for many years. Survivors include her beloved brother, George Gramesty of Boca Raton, Fla.; two devoted sisters, Adele G. Raiano of Fairfield, Freda G. Terek of Stratford; seven nephews and five nieces; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Nassa G. Macol, Katherine Gramesty; and a brother, Louis Gramesty.

Funeral Information

Friends are invited to go "Directly" to St. Nicholas Antiochian Syrian Orthodox Church on Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Romanos Malouf officiating assisted by Deacon Samuel Bal. Interment immediately following at Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church after 9 a.m. until time of service on Thursday, January 21, 2010. The Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport, is in charge of arrangements.

The family requests that those desiring make donations to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 5458 Park Ave., Bridgeport or to the Jewish Home for the Elderly, 175 Jefferson St., Fairfield, in loving memory of Helen.
