Marie D'Amico Tiberio

Marie D'Amico Tiberio, age 79, of Trumbull, beloved wife of 50 years to the late Russell R. Tiberio Jr., died peacefully on Sunday, February 21, 2010 after a long battle with kidney failure. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anne Patrizz D'Amico. A resident of Trumbull for more than 50 years she was a retired employee of Fleet Bank where she had worked for more than 15 years in the Processing Department. A religious lady, she had been active in the Rosary and Altar Society at St. Stephen's and had also done various volunteers jobs at the church. The family would like to acknowledge a deep note of gratitude for the years of compassionate service given to her by Davita Dialysis Center and St. Vincent's Medical Center. Survivors include her devoted children, Joanne Hiltz and her husband, Ross of Guilford, Michele Coppolella and her husband, Mark of Trumbull, Russell Tiberio III and his wife, Sheri of Trumbull; three grandchildren, Matthew and Mikala Coppolella and Lindsey Hiltz; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Jeanette Ourfalian.

Funeral Information

Friends are invited to go "Directly" to St. Stephen's Church, 6948 Main Street, Trumbull on Wednesday at 10 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated followed by Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport.
