Irene E. (Barosci) Domogala

Irene E. (Barosci) Domogala, age 80 of Bridgeport, wife of 62 years to John W. Domogala, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Born in Fairfield, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Barany Barosci. A resident of Bridgeport for more than 60 years, she was a retired assembler for Bead Chain. An avid gardener, she also enjoyed knitting and cooking, but her pride and joy was her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A quiet and meek person, she will be sadly missed by all whose lives she touched. In addition to her devoted husband, John, she is survived by six sons, Robert W. Domogala and wife, Susan of Trumbull, David J. Domogala and wife, Terri of Southbury, Richard W. Domogala and wife, Susan of Bridgeport, Mark W. Domo-gala and wife, Elizabeth of Monroe, Michael W. Domogala and wife, Andrea of Orange and Jeffery J. Domogala and wife, Laura of New Hampshire; grandchildren Robert W. Domogala Jr., Debra A. Bennett and husband, Jeff, Joseph F. Domogala and finace, Melissa, Dena and Brian, Derek, Claire, Kelly, Joshua, Becca, Jacob, Dora, Rachel, Mark, nathan, Benjamin, Michael, Mikayla, Ashley and Jason Domogala; great-grandchildren, Rose, Haley, Brian, Patrick and Emily; a sister, Viola Gintoli of Monroe; and several nieces and nephews. She was prede-ceased by a son, John J. Domogala. seven sisters; and three brothers.

Funeral Information

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Andrews Church, 435 Anton St., Bridgeport followed by burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. In abiding by the final wishes of Irene, calling hours have been omitted. The Commerce Hill Radozycki Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport, have been entrusted with arrangements.
